Common AC problems we fix

What's your AC doing?

Airflow

Weak or no airflow

Could be a clogged filter, a failing blower motor, blocked vents, or a duct problem. We check it all and tell you exactly what's going on.

Cooling

Blowing warm air

Low refrigerant, a bad capacitor, a dirty condenser, or a compressor issue are the usual suspects. We diagnose it before quoting a repair.

Water

Leaks or frozen coils

A clogged drain line or restricted airflow can cause water damage and iced-up coils. We clear the issue and explain how to avoid it again.

Emergency

Complete breakdowns

When the AC just stops working and it's 110° outside, call us directly. We're available around the clock for urgent cooling problems.

AC repair questions

What people ask us about AC repair

Why is my AC blowing warm air even though it's running?

Warm air usually means one of a few things: low refrigerant from a leak, a failed capacitor (the part that helps start the compressor), a dirty condenser coil, or a compressor that's struggling. A thermostat set to 'fan only' mode can also fool you into thinking something's broken. We narrow it down fast once we're on-site.

How long does an AC repair visit take?

Most common repairs — a capacitor replacement, a refrigerant recharge, clearing a clogged drain — are done in one visit, usually in one to two hours. More involved repairs take longer, but we'll tell you what to expect before we start.

Should I repair my AC or just replace it?

Depends on the age of the unit and the cost of the repair. If the repair is expensive and the system is 10+ years old, replacement often makes more financial sense long-term. We'll lay out both options honestly and let you decide — no pressure either way.

My AC is making a loud banging or clicking noise. Is that serious?

It can be. Banging usually means something's loose or broken inside the unit. Clicking on startup is normal; clicking that doesn't stop might point to a failing relay or capacitor. Don't ignore unusual sounds — catching it early is almost always cheaper than waiting.

Don't wait it out

Small AC problems get worse fast in Las Vegas

Weak airflow, warm air, water dripping, or strange sounds — these don't fix themselves. The sooner you call, the simpler the repair usually is.
